Sustainable Management of Liquid Wastes and the Re-Use of their End Products

The Institute for Sustainability and Innovation, Victoria University has organised a workshop on the sustainable management of liquid wastes and the re-use of the end products.

The workshop is based on the knowledge and operational experience in the handling of liquid wastes and the re-use of the end-products. The workshop would be of benefit for liquid waste treatment plant managers, engineers, scientists and plant operators, where-in the best practices in liquid management strategies and operational solutions are shared.

The workshop also provides an insight on the environmental needs of the microbial flora in the break down of organic (carbonaceous and proteinaceous) material through the aerobic and the anaerobic processes.

The workshop will be conducted by Professors, Stephen Gray, Syed Hussainy, Bob Fairclough and Dr Jun-De Li.
